Hey Folks,
I just wanted to drop a quick note that you can email Liam through Harborview's hospital website. You simply fill out a form and hospital volunteers will print them out and come read them to Liam.
Here is the link:

His current room is 369.
I just got here, and he is asleep. Erika said that he had about an hour of physical therapy this morning, and they again had him standing for a while! His left arm, however, is still weak.
Keep up the positive thoughts, and Liam will keep working on getting better.

Joel,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. Have you shown him the blog?
WR,
Frank
I get error messages when I use their Patient form. I've tried their back up email address.
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to talk to him on Erika's iPhone speakerphone when we get a chance.
WR,
Frank
Hi Joel,
ReplyDeleteI must have done something wrong on the form (I always do) but if you get the chance to read it to him, I've pasted the e-mail I tried to send him below:
Thanks
Hey Liam!
Its Pamcakes! Pam, Chris's sister!
Hows it going? I'm sorry I didn't get to see you over Christmas break when I was back in Washington from school in Hawaii.
I have a funny picuture from Chris and Lindsey's wedding of you and Sophie and Connie Charette, I'll have to show it to you sometime or e-mail it.
I wish I could be there to see you! Next time Chris and Lindsey visit, you should ask them to bring some 'soccer aerobics' CDs so you can listen to fun 'quality' music while you do your physical therapy!
Hope your smiling!
Love
Pam
Erika,
ReplyDeleteI play against Liam in the soccer league and only know him only by face. We shake hands once or twice a season.
I thought Liam might like to know that he is the talk of the league. Last week at the coin toss, the ref at our game made a point to mention Liam's situation for those who had not heard. We all already knew though. Before every game everyone talks about what we know about his progress. A lot of us players are watching the blog every day, hoping for good word. Thankfully, it seems he is well on his way to recovery. It's great to hear that he's "not stupid!" It really sounds like he's all there, just struggling with expression at this point.
Keep up the good work on the blog. There are a lot of us out here who are closely watching and are looking forward to seeing Liam back on the field as soon as possible.
Best wishes!
A concerned player from the Georgetown Merchants
The UW e-mail form that Joel mentioned above is working again.
ReplyDeleteKevin, thank you so much for your message. It means a lot.

Frank (Liam's dad)
